How Does Order Based
Pricing Work?
All plugs ordered
by you between June 1 and May 31 are accumulated
to determine your order based pricing level.
Please note... All
volume accumulated prior to June 1 will NOT be
included in this year’s pricing level calculation.
Your order based
pricing level is calculated on the number of
plugs ordered, no matter what variety or tray size you buy.
For example: if you
order 100,000 512’s and 150,000 288’s you
are invoiced at pricing Level 5. These plugs may be divided
into as many shipments as you wish. Each
shipment is invoiced at the Current Price Level for this year.
Placing further orders will boost your Price Level for those orders
as well as earlier orders not yet invoiced.

Please note... Penalty
for payments later than terms. If accounts are
not paid within 60 days, your accumulated pricing level may be
jeopardised.
June 1, starts your
new accumulating order based pricing period. (You restart at zero volume
every year). Prices for all orders in our
system at June 1 are locked in place and will not change.
How Does Order Based Pricing Work?
Your order based pricing level is
calculated on the number of plugs ordered, no matter what tray size you
buy.
All plugs ordered by you between June 1
and May 31 are accumulated to determine your order based pricing level.
The year-to-date order volume will determine the pricing level you will
be invoiced at, based on the table below. The cost per plug
decreases as the Price Level increases.

For example, if you order 10,000 512's
and 150,000 288's your order price level is Level 5. All your
uninvoiced orders in our system will be invoiced at Price Level 5.
These plugs may be divided into as many shipments as you wish, with each
shipment invoiced at Current Price Level for this year. Placing
further orders will boost your Price Level (meaning lower cost per plug)
for those orders as well as earlier orders not yet invoiced.
Please note:

Example 1
On June 15, you decide to place orders
for July and August delivery:
10,000 Begonias in 512's trays
60,000 Petunias in 288's
20,000 Gerberas in 128's = 90,000 plugs or 90K
90K is more than 50K but less than 100K so
that places you in Price Level 3.
Example 2
One month later you order for September
and October delivery a variety of items totalling 170,000 plugs.
1st order total = 90,000 plugs
This Order = 170,000 plugs
Current Total = 260,000 plugs or 260K
260K is more than 250K but less than 500K,
so that places you in Price Level 5. All your uninvoiced orders in
our system will now be invoiced at Level 5.
